At what time is it on in the UK? And where? I saw several names passing by. Any idea how it was received?

It's been put on a Wednesday night on channel 4. Last week they had two episodes on, one at 8.30 and the other at 10. They placed it around Big Brother.
From now on though its going to be on at 10pm.

The two episodes were also repeated on Saturday evening, not sure if they'll do that every week. I hope so!

Have to be honest, but Brothers and Sisters is just not my thing at all. It's so American and the actual story is really hard work to watch. I found myself falling asleep, matthew or no matthew! The only reason I bothered to watch the third episode on Wednesday was because Matthew was in it. Normally, i would have given such a boring story a wide berth. Why can't Matthew find a decent British drama to star in? They do make decent TV programmes here.

I don't get that at all. I love B&S. I don't know why you think it's so American. What makes something American or British? The story makes perfect sense to me and I think B&S is quite funny and entertaining. Maybe Matthew is trying to broaden his horizons by starring in an American series. Btw, they decided to stop broadcasting B&S in Holland! I'm really pissed off. I hope they'll continue after the summer. But I'll get the DVD anyway.

I did too. A lot of messages on there. I hope they'll change their mind once they realise just how many people cared about B&S.

Maybe Matthew is trying to broaden his horizons by starring in an American series. . Matthew's taking work where he can. Fair play to him. He probably really believes in what he's doing. Fair play to him again. The show just does not grab my interest. The incidental music doesn't help, either, it sends me to sleep. What makes something so American or so British is quite subtle, but don't worry about it: I know what I mean. I love Mathew to bits, but it doesn't follow I'm going to like everything he does. I love Brothers%Sisters, i was slighlty worried about it being too American to begin with, but i think that of most American shows when they first air. I thought The West Wing was going to be like that but it became one of my favourite tv programmes of all time. I realised that the Walker family could live anywhere and have the same secrets and problems, they just happen to live in America. I love Matthew's character Kevin, he is naturally my favourite. Kevin seems to have the best storlines, admittedly in the UK we are only on the fifth ep. I love his sense of humour, and his vulnerability. I love the connection between him and Scotty, i read on the ABC offical site abc.go.com/primetime/brothersandsisters/index.htmlthat the writers want to make Scotty Kevin's Mr Big equivalent to the Sex and the City one. How fab would that be. It looks like Matthew is as sweet as Kevin cause on the same site the writers blog says that on his last day of filming Matthew not only ordred a coffee cart to sit outside the studios, but he also ordered an ice cream van. How brilliant is that!! The writers say really nice stuff like "We love you and we cherish you. See you next season Matt" You should check it out. That is soooooo sweet, they obviously love him to bits and who wouldn't!! I'm really glad that our Welshman is getting such high praise, although woth those gorgeous blue eyes don't do any harm! ;D
