Crap, I hope I've got that 'hello' right! Obviously, I don't speak Welsh, but I am here to beg a favor from those of you who do. I'm a writer (unfortunately, still working on getting published) and I am working on a novel for which I will be using several ancient Welsh/Gaelic names. Not that any of the readers will know what to do with these names, I feel I should know how they are pronounced in my mind. I'm having some trouble working my head around all the pronunciation rules for the names of my hero and his best friend/cousin and I'm wondering if you beautiful Welsh speakers can help. I've got Llyr as the hero and Myrddin as the friend...the latter being the toughest one to get. I keep getting conflicting information from the net, and honestly don't have the money to invest in something audio at the mo. Any help would be much appreciated (and rewarded with acknowledgements should I get this thing published!) ;D
