Hi, I'm Mary (and possibly the oldest member so far?) Bec made me go with her to see him in Under Milk Wood and the LL Files...and I've been hooked ever since!! Well, I had to check but I'm only 39, so I'm not the oldest. Silly question perhaps, but are Under Milk Wood and the LL files theater productions? I had never heard of them before... Still so much to discover about him. Nice to 'speak' to all of you.

Under Milk Wood was written by Dylan Thomas, originally as a radio play, but it has been adapted for theatre. Matthew played the part of "First voice", basically narrator, and was loosely basing his part on Dylan Thomas. LL Files is a free performance, which is a satirical radio show based on welsh view of current affairs. Matthew was the special guest at a christmas special a couple of years ago. We got to meet him!! mary xx

Just saw the link to this forum on IMDB. I've liked Matthew ever since watching the Abduction Club, which I loved. Strang was my favourite character with that cute rebellious thing he's got going on. hehe. Adored the Italian bit as well. We also own Titus since my mum is a Hopkins fan but I haven't even seen it yet. I did catch Matthew on Brothers and Sisters recently. We're on episode six at the moment. Forgot to mention some info about meself. I'm 21 years old and a student English teacher from the Netherlands. Aspiring actress/writer. By the way, Matthew's Welsh accent is adorable and when he speaks Welsh....awww! I love Celtic languages.

Hoi Sylviane. I saw your topic. Didn't know Matt was so popular in Holland. I showed a good friend of mine some Matt clips and interviews too and now she's a B&S fan as well. hehe.

I'm promoting it too! I started to watch B&S because of Matthew and Rachel Griffiths, who already acted together in Very Annie Mary. And I fell in love with almost the whole family and outsiders.

Welcome renaterhys! Glad to have you It never ceases to amaze and thrill me that Matthew doesn't just have fans in the UK or the US, but all over the world! Boy that talent sure crosses over doesn't it? No matter where you're from you can appreciate Mattie. Brothers & Sisters seems to connect with so many people and I really think we're going to have a lot of fun watching this show. There's so much to talk about and we're seeing some top notch acting. I adore Rachel Griffiths now, it's official. How great to see her and Matthew in action together again. Have you seen the Very Annie Mary clips on YouTube? Very hilarious.

Yes! The singing bit is hilarious. And that heavy Welsh accent. Ioan is great in that clip as well. And then that Welsh clip where they're reciting poetry.... I found the poem on wikipedia and tried reading along with them. That was challenging but fun.
